Are you already stressing about Christmas presents?

This year, my Christmas gift guide will focus on products that are used or needed in the sauna.

We Finns have our own sauna “rituals”. Enjoying the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the sauna has been part of our Christmas tradition for hundreds of years. My Christmas gift guide will help you choose the best products for your sauna-loving friends and family.

And do you know what the best part is? You can now buy and send these wonderful products to your loved ones regardless of where you live. My Sauna Shop ships to Europe and North America. Shipping to the rest of the world is also possible for country-specific postage. Just feel free to contact us, we will find a solution!

Please order the products well in advance so you are sure to get them before Christmas.

So, what do you need to enjoy your sauna this Christmas?

The first thing that comes to mind is…

Sauna scent

You can now order Osmia’s high-quality sauna fragrances from my Sauna Shop. They are made in Finland and are the best sauna scents in the world. The Sauna Shop has 12 different steam scents: Birch, pine, sandalwood, juniper, eucalyptus, mint, rosemary, tar, smoke sauna, grapefruit, honey-herb and honey-lemon.

Which of these is your choice?

Birch sauna scents

Personally, I love the birch and smoke sauna scents. The smoke sauna scent especially took me by surprise. You can really imagine being in a smoke sauna when you close your eyes. The birch fragrance is by far the best birch-scented sauna scent I have come across.

You can check out Sauna-Shop’s Steam Fragrance selection here.

Now that your sauna smells amazing it is time for a little beauty treatment.

Exfoliating salts

Osmia’s salt scrub with wild rose and jojoba oil is the perfect product for a little sauna pamper session. Wild rose is known for its stress-relieving and soothing qualities. You will leave the sauna even more relaxed than usual.

Wild rose is said to help with headaches. The wild rose is also a symbol of femininity, so this is a great gift for all the amazing women in your life.

If you think the wild rose scent is too strong for you, you can mix in some honey or olive oil.

Check out the wild rose jojoba oil peel here.

You can use the salt scrub in the sauna or in your bathroom. If you use it in the sauna, please remember to protect the sauna benches.

You can do this by using a big towel or even a sheet. Personally, I would recommend using a roll towel.

Roll towel

Protect your benches with a roll towel. This is something I have learned while living in Germany. In public saunas, it is really important that no sweat gets on the benches. You need a towel that is big enough to fit your bum and your feet. The roll towel is best suited for this task as it is wide and long enough.

Linen-cotton fabric is easy to care for. It also becomes softer and more absorbent after every wash.

You can order roll towers and other sauna textiles from the Sauna Shop. You can choose from different patterns like chalk stripe, birch, pine, and reindeer.

Check out all the wonderful roll towels available in the Sauna Shop.

The benches have been protected and your sauna smells wonderful. You may have put a relaxing salt peel on your skin and let it work for 10-20 minutes.

Maybe you now want to enhance the effect of peeling and use an authentic Finnish sauna whisk?

Authentic sauna whisk

Sauna Shop’s sauna whisks are made sustainably using Finnish birch branches. The birch whisks are made by hand using traditional methods.

You can be sure that these sauna whisks are high-quality and do not shed their leaves prematurely. I can promise that you can use them at least five times if not more.

As with all sauna whisks, please remember proper use and storage.

Soak the sauna whisk in hot water for at least 20 minutes before use. Allow it to dry after use. You can either hang dry the sauna whisk or just leave it on the sauna benches to dry.

Next, it is time to wash your hair. My personal recommendation is Osmia’s birch shampoo.

Birch shampoo

If you also want a wonderful birch scent for your hair, then Osmia birch shampoo is the right choice for you.

Osmia’s birch shampoo just happens to be the best shampoo I know! I have reduced the number of washes to twice a week, and I haven’t really needed any hair conditioner anymore. That’s if that’s a real miracle with my naturally curly and tangled hair.

Here is feedback I received from a customer:

I have been using Osmia hair products for almost a year now and I am really happy with them.

The birch shampoo smells good and makes my hair naturally clean. One bottle lasted me more than half a year because the number of washes decreased to only once a week! I recommend it, together with the birch conditioner!

For lovers of natural skincare, I recommend the beautiful soaps from the Kaurilan Sauna range.

Kaurilan Sauna Salt Soap

Rose Salt Soap is wonderful for washing your face or beard as well as for shaving. It is also excellent for gentle cleansing of the entire body.

The soap is made from high quality vegetable oils and mineral-rich rose salt. Salt crystals melt and mix with the foam, making it very gentle for sensitive skin.

Rose Salt Soap is long lasting, fragrance and colorant free. Ecological choice for your skin and environment.

I hope that this “Christmas sauna essentials- 6 Christmas Gift Ideas” article will help you find the perfect gifts for this Christmas.

Kati, Sauna-Shop’s own sauna elf, wishes you a very wonderful Christmas time!
